Rohde & Schwarz launched a new series of liquid-cooled high-power transmitters at Euronaval 2022 on 18 October.

A traditional innovator in the HF arena, the company is now offering next-generation technologies in beyond-line-of-sight communications with the liquid-cooled R&S SK4105/4110 transmitters. These devices offer extreme reliability, best-in-class availability and low total cost of ownership. The company’s high vertical integration ensures service and maintenance for the entire lifecycle.

Excellent performance through HF wideband capability, as well as 5 or 10kW output power, make the R&S SK4105/4110 unique on the market. “Our new HF high-power transmitters are a future-proof investment,” explains Robert Träger, Senior System Architect HF Radios. “They securely carry voice and data traffic across long distances. The new HF wideband mode significantly reduces link setup and data throughput times. There is no single point of failure, since each transmitter has its own closed cooling system.
