Series 4100 and 4400 SDR
The Spanish Navy’s new BONIFAZ-class (F-110) frigates, which will be configured for the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) role, will feature Rohde & Schwarz external communications systems, the Munich-based company announced on 19 October.
The five frigates, under construction by Navantia, will feature R&S M3SR software-defined radios (SDR) – the Series 4100 HF and Series 4400 V/USHF. Rohde & Schwarz (Spain) will also provide engineering services and integrated logistics support.
