A newly developed high mobility vehicle should attract the interest by the military

Mercedes-Benz Defence Vehicles displays its full portfolio of military trucks in Villepinte, some of which for the first time, including: the MRV (Multi Role Vehicle) and the UNIMOG 5023 with double cabin and highest tactical mobility. The latter is fitted with a Mercedes-Benz OM 934 Euro VI engine offering an output of 170kW (231HP), and its chassis is optimised for a container swap body. The vehicle on display in Villepinte has four seats, which is described as a “world premiere”. Dr Ralf Forcher, Head of Marketing, Sales and Services, and Member of the Executive Committee, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, confirms that there are continuing talks with the German Bundeswehr for possibly delivering a yet undisclosed quantity of the vehicle.
