Premium Aramid & Polyethylene
In hall 6, booth K617, within the German Pavilion, Teijin Aramid shows its ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene ENDUMAX Shield XF 33, one of the strongest films available at its weight. It can be supplied in large dimensions. Protective uni-directionals (UD) and composites made from ENDUMAX, such as insert plates, protective panels and helmets, have a very high degree of breaking energy, resulting in a particularly high stopping power for bullets and fragments, at a low weight.
Also on the booth Teijin Aramid shows its highly efficient TWARON solutions. The high-performance para-aramid offers an excellent energy-absorption-to-weight ratio, allowing hard ballistic manufacturers to add considerable value to their products, like weight savings of 30 to 60% in comparison to steel, enhances speed and allowance for heavier payloads, easy installation, as well as a good price-to-performance-ratio.
ENDUMAX and TWARON in armouring can make hard ballistic protection solutions, such as military, police and civilian vehicles, cash transporters, bulletproof cars, helicopters, planes and boats, much more efficient in relation to protection, reliability, performance-to-weight, and manoeuvrability.
