Company Sees Multiple Opportunities for Airlifter
As part of its ongoing campaign to further cement the success of its C-390 airlifter development, Embraer Defense and Security Will highlight the aircraft at the forthcoming Airpower 2022 airshow – Austria’s largest – taking place on 2-3 September in Zeltweg.

We are seeing the C-390 operating with incredible availability rates, which is the result of a modern design for reliability, maintainability, and a selection of the best suppliers worldwide”.
The C-390 is already in service with the Brazilian Air Force and has been ordered by the governments of Portugal, Hungary and, most recently, the Netherlands, where the aircraft Will succeed the existing Hercules fleet, now approaching retirement. Enjoying a misión availability rate of 97% as it passes the 5,000 flight hours milestone, the type offers extremely valuable mobility and capacity characteristics, as well as comfort, reconfigurability and safety metrics, offering operators optimal management of operational and sustainment costs.
