Polish Facility Enhances Capacity in Growing Market
Advanced motion control solutions developer Elmo has trebled production capacity in its main Israeli plant and enhanced manufacturing capacity in its Polish facility in order to address growing markets, the company announced on 23 January.
The Polish plant, which began manufacturing early in 2015, has been updated with similar capabilities to the company’s main manufacturing facility in Israel, including a comprehensive manufacturing plant to enable it to produce the entire portfolio of Elmo products, with full testing and burn-in infrastructure.
“Demand for Elmo’s products has grown immensely and we have responded by tripling the production capacity of Elmo Israel and by opening our own production in the EU. This expansion illustrates our continued commitment to, and investment in, the design and manufacturing of the highest quality, most advanced, efficient and powerful servo drives and motion-controllers in the industry,” said Haim Monhait, Elmo Motion Control CEO. “The location of the new production facility enables us to ‘get closer’ to customers and also benefit from full compliance with the European Union Certificate of Origin (EU COO) requirements,” Monhait added.
