Undisclosed Customer Will Receive Launchers Over Three Years
Elbit Systems has been awarded a contract by an undisclosed international customer for its Precise and Universal Launching System (PULS) long-range rocket launchers and associated munitions. The $150 million contract will be executed over a three year period.
PULS offers a comprehensive, cost-effective solution, with the capability of launching unguided and precision-guided rockets as well as missiles, to an effective range of up to 300 kilometres. Its unique design supports future growth and enhancements, such as the ability to launch loitering munitions, including the canister-launched configuration of the company’s SkyStriker. The PULS launcher is fully adaptable to existing wheeled and tracked platforms, enabling significant reductions in maintenance and training costs.
“We are seeing an increased demand for our advanced artillery solutions from militaries looking to increase the effectiveness of their armed forces. This contract provides an additional vote of confidence in Elbit Systems’ PULS rocket artillery solutions,” commented Yehuda Vered, General Manager of Elbit System Land.
