Elbit Systems Wins up to $442 Million for ENVG-B for US Army

Initial LRIP Order to be Delivered in 2021

Elbit Systems of America has won a US Army contract for the Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular (ENVG-B) worth up to $442 million (€374 million), the company announced on 22 October. An initial order in the amount of $22.5 million for low-rate initial production (LRIP) has been placed, with delivery expected by the end of 2021.

The ENVG-B systems provide US soldiers with superior situational awareness during limited visibility conditions, and increased lethality through faster target acquisition. They will undergo various qualification phases, including field trials and system testing. The company is already delivering on a $249 million five-year contract to supply the Squad Binocular Night Vision Goggles to the USMC.

The selection of the ENVG-B systems by the US Army is a testament to the quality of Elbit Systems of America’s technologies and their unique operational contribution. This contract award demonstrates the significant potential of our night vision activities,” commented Bezhalel Machlis, Elbit Systems President & CEO.
