$15 Million to Supply TASYS over Three-Year Period
Elbit Systems announced on 16 April it has been awarded a contract by Armasuisse – the Swiss Federal Office for Defence Procurement – valued at $15 million (€13.8 million), to supply command and control (C2) systems for the Swiss Armed Forces’ TASYS tactical reconnaissance system.
Under the contract, to be completed over a three-year period, Elbit Systems will provide the reconnaissance battalions and forward observer teams of the Swiss Army with C2 systems that improve target acquisition and prioritization, as well as enhancing data dissemination capabilities and enabling generation of a common operational picture, thereby facilitating rapid decision-making and effective engagement.
