Structural Realignment Reinforces Core Strengths

Elbit Systems announced on 22 November that it is to reorganize and restructure certain of its business activities in order to strengthen and exploit business synergies. Set to begin shortly, the reorganization will be rolled out during the course of 2021.

The company’s varied activities in the field of precision-guided munitions (PGN) will be integrated into the already strong PGM product and service portfolio within the Land Division. Similarly, activities in the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) field will be folded into Elbit Systems’ Aerospace Division, where synergies with military aircraft programmes can be better exploited. Finally, the company’s wide range of capabilities and interests in electronic warfare and signals intelligence (SIGINT) will form the core of a synergistic ISTAR and EW division.
