Elbit Supplying BriteNite to NATO Customer

Enables Pilots to Operate in Degraded Visual Environments

Elbit Systems has won a contract valued at approx. $17 million to supply its BriteNite multi-spectral systems to a NATO member air force.  Delivery will take place over the next two and a half years. BriteNite removes helicopter pilots’ dependence on NVG and delivers a crystal clear visual of the landscape, with flight and mission data overlaid, directly to both eyes, enabling intuitive flight in a heads-up, eyes-out orientation in low visibility and degraded visual environments. The company claims that BriteNite enables pilots to fly on 90% of night-time conditions and is particularly well suited to special operations forces and search and rescue teams.
