Complementary Expertise Enables Comprehensive Solutions

Portuguese enterprises EID (a Cohort plc company) and Critical Software have formed a strategic partnership to address developing opportunities in the defence and security markets, the companies announced on 6 January.

The agreement brings together two experienced companies with the aim of providing complete C4I equipment  solutions, enhancing situational awareness and supporting faster, better-informed decision-making for defence and security organisations, at both tactical and operational levels.

EID’s digital communication and information exchange capabilities (including personal, handheld and manpack radios, data and power integrators, data terminals, intercom systems, and more) will be used in conjunction with Critical Software’s EyeCommand solution, which provides C2 capabilities and a common operational image.
