DSEI 2019: Navantia Updates Innovation and Programme Progress

Company Seeks Depper Collaboration With UK Supply Chain

Navantia will update the naval community at DSEI 2019 on progress on several fronts at ExCeL this week.

As well as displaying the latest shipbuilding innovations, the company will provide further details of some of the most significant projects with which it is involved. These include the recently signed contract for the next-generation F110 frigate for Spain, the S-80 air independent propulsion submarine and the two vessels currently under construction for the Royal Australian Navy.

Working with suppliers from across the UK, Navantia has submitted a proposal to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the Fleet Solid Support (FSS) programme.  As part of the offer, Navantia is looking to grow the UK supply chain for this and other new-build programmes.  The company will be holding a UK Supplier Event during DSEI to explore opportunities for future collaboration.
