Next-generation, Multirole, Autonomous UGV
Known primarily for its 40-year legacy developing mine-clearing solutions, which are centred on UGVs, Aardvark is launching the Remote Autonomous Next Generation-Rover (RANG-R) UGV at DSEI in London this week.
A next-generation, multirole, autonomous UGV, RANG-R has been developed in collaboration with leading experts in AI, sensor technology and human-machine interfaces (HMI), extending critical missions while massively reducing the human burden in environments ranging from the military to security, law enforcement and SAR.
The advanced solution has been created in direct response to operator feedback, and is aimed at providing high levels of capability in ever-more demanding and hazardous operational conditions. RANG-R features a range of tools designed to mitigate a wide variety of threats, while simultaneously integrating other advanced technologies to provide vastly enhanced situational awareness.
“Our clients required a multi-role UGV solution that embodied the Aardvark ethos of reliability, survivability and affordability and I truly believe that the RANG-R delivers fully against that requirement,” commented Group CEO, David St John-Claire.
