DSEI 2019 Preview: Peli-Hardigg Min Mac Rack and ‘Golden Hour’ on Show

Protecting Fragile Contents – Including Blood

At DSEI 2019 in London next month, Peli-Hardigg will exhibit its well-known range of reusable tough plastic containers.

The company’s range of roto-moulded cases can be customised to specific needs, while offering the best protection possible for any type of equipment, even the most fragile. Peli-Hardigg has been able to build a robust line of more than 500 sizes of cases that meet the harsh demands of the military, aerospace and other industries. They have been tested in the field as well as in combat situations. They are used to protect and transport aircraft components and engines, military diving vessels, all types of drones/UAV, weapons and missiles, satellites, robots and electronic equipment, no matter the size and characteristics.

Entirely manufactured in Europe and designed for military, Min Mac Rack Cases are available with a short lead time of only four weeks. After successful completion of new military test certifications for drops (MIL-STD-810G), water immersion (IPX7) and dust ingress protection (IP6X), this feature-rich rugged case line offers leading protection value. The range is available with five different frame heights (4, 6, 8, 10 and 12U), each available with two different rack lengths (480 and 610mm), making a total of 20 configurable ready-to-order rack cases. Designed to meet military standard requirements such as MIL-STD-810G, it answers the demand for making the most of limited space, while providing rugged protection for the equipment.

The Min Mac Rack angled precision-engineered elastomeric shock mounts are fine-tuned to match the weight and fragility of protected equipment. This ensures maximum shock and vibration isolation. The high-strength, lightweight, heat-treated, square-holed steel rack frame provides a range of mounting options for single or multiple items of fragile military equipment.

Sister company Peli BioThermal will be showing examples of its award-winning GOLDEN HOUR products. This innovative range of thermal transport containers protects blood products for up to 72 hours, irrespective of weather conditions on the battlefield. Of interest will be the recently introduced GOLDEN HOUR ONE, which is suitable for one unit of whole blood.
