‘Support-the-soldier’ Forward Ethos Drives Continued Development
Australia’s Codan Communications will showcase its newly-developed HF manpack radio, the SENTRY-H 6110-MP at DSEI 2019 in London 10-13 September.
One of the smallest and lightest tactical manpacks currently on the market, the SENTRY-H 6110-MP is part of the company’s broader SENTRY portfolio, which consists of HF, VHF and UHF solutions in form factors ranging from handheld to vehicular or base installations.
“Codan’s SENTRY portfolio provides the latest technology allowing for ease of use and affordability, ensuring our customers have the flexibility required in today’s tactical environment,” commented Executive General Manager, Codan Communications, Paul Sangster.
Key challenges facing today’s defence forces include interoperability and secure communications, not only amongst themselves but also between partner nation forces and legacy equipment. Codan offers affordable, combat-tested and -proven HF, VHF and UHF radio solutions, with secure and encrypted data and voice capabilities for such missions.
“Codan’s ability to support partner forces is second to none because of the reliability, sustainability and ease of use of its products as well as the continued ‘support-the-soldier’ forward ethos of the company,” observed retired Lt-Gen Charles Cleveland, Commander US Army Special Operations Command 2012-2015.
