Advanced ballistic and impact protection
At DSEI 2017, Schuberth Helmets is introducing two new helmets to the market, currently as prototypes.
In a very innovatice modular approach to the curret changing mission threats, the currently still in development advanced MOHAWK helmets meets stringent quality standards and military specifications for ballistic threats, blunt impact and blast fragmentation. Advanced aramid shell technology gives the high cut MOHAWK reduced weight while delivering advanced ballistic and impact protection at a a very cost effective price, according to the company. Modular components, include a snap-on Front Mount with the “mohawk” rail, and two standalone long rails that are attached with just three screws. This flexible rail system allows all standard accessories to be attached, without additional screw holes through the outer shell.
The second helmet showcased features a more conservative set up for green army, in what the company says it being the successor to their 826 helmet they sold to the Swiss Army.
More on the fully modular MOHAWK soon. Watch this space.
