DSA 2018: TAI and Deftech to Strengthen Collaboration

ANKA UAV Will be a Major Highlight of TAI Exhibit

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) will be using Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2018 in Kuala Lumpur this week to showacse the ANKA UAV. Also on display will be models of the T129 ATAK helicopter, the T625 helicopter, the HÜRKUŞ training and light attack aircraft and the TF-X Turkish Fighter programme.

ANKA has been a feature of the company’s accelerated involvement in the Asia-Pacific market in recent years and the presence of Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak is anticipated during the opening day of the fair, for the signature of an agreement between TAI and Deftech, the leading defence and aerospace company of the DRB-HICOM Holdings group. This agreement, which TAI says will signal “a new momentum,” follows on an initial agreement signed during ISDEF 2017 in Instanbul.
