Quest for Perimeter Security Solutions
Faced with the Fidayeen attacks the Indian security establishment are investing heavily in security of their assets and establishments in the insurgency infested regions. The Indian Air Force also renewed its perimeter security needs in the aftermath of the Pathankot Air Base attacks. Si2 Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., a defence electronics manufacturing company based in Bangalore, has signed a MoU of cooperation with JSC Rosoboronexport for technical collaboration and marketing of integrated perimeter security solutions for the Indian market.
Alexender V Shcherbinin, Chief of Marketing Department of JSC Rosoboronexport, and Sanjay Soni, President Si2 Microsystems, said in a joint statement that both parties are looking forward to closer collaboration in perimeter security and other related areas in the times to come. The proposed areas of cooperation include the ongoing projects with BSF, Para military Forces (Camp security), Airfields and other Government agencies.
Si2 Microsystems Pvt Ltd was established in 1996 and is a leading manufacturer of systems and sub systems for Indian and International customers in both commercial and defence space. The development is in tune with the internal security situation prevailing in the subcontinent.
