For the present, MKU sees an opportunity of nearly U$1.5 billion in the Indian market, in the near future. Upbeat with the prospects MKU recently made a commitment of investing heavily in the defence Industrial Corridor in the Northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
On display are state-of-the-art electro optical systems, betting on its Active Blast Mitigation System. Once fitted on the vehicle it minimises the effect of IED blast by firing rockets that negate the kinetic energy of the blast. This reduces the damage and minimises the trauma to the occupants. In the Indian context where large amount of casualties happen in the insurgency prone states due to IED blast. The technology will surely attract attention of the forces engaged in the Internal Security duties.

MKU has a state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing facility for electro-optical systems in India to comply with 2 JSS 55555 and MIL 8810G standards.
With its presence in over 100 countries and supply to more than 200 different forces MKU has the requisite experience to increase its footprint in the Indian defence market.
