IFVs, Naval Vessels, Weapon Systems and EW
BAE Systems will showcase a range of emerging technologies for all defence domains at DEFEA in Athens, 9-11 May.
From the future of electronic warfare with Storm EW to the CV90 IFV; from innovative head-up displays for pilots to naval ships; and from munitions to electric propulsion for municipal transport, heavy-duty and military vehicles, the BAE Systems team will present the breadth of the company’s capabilities, as well as the international nature of its partnerships and relationships.
“For decades, BAE Systems and Greece have worked together to deliver growth and support those who protect Greece and its allies on land, at sea and in the air. Our relationship offers significant potential to strengthen and grow across all these domains and new, critical areas such as cyber security and space. We look forward to sharing our vision for a prosperous, protected future for Greece,” commented Gabby Costigan, Group Managing Director, Business Development.
The BAE Systems stand at DEFEA 2023 will feature a full-scale CV90, as well as exhibits on upgraded Mk45 naval guns, the M109 self-propelled howitzer, APKWS laser guidance kit and the Assault Amphibious Vehicle, alongside the Hypervelocity Projectile (HVP) munition and naval ship solutions. For the air domain, the digital light engine-enhanced head-up display and Storm EW, which adds cutting edge EW capabilities to any combat aircraft, including the F-16, will also feature. Supporting training and sustainment for these – and many other platforms – will also undoubtedly be part of the conversations at DEFEA.
