Addressing delivering training capabilities + ultra-portable SATCOM
James T. Blake, Ph.D., Senior Vice President of Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation, Integrated Training Solutions is participating in a panel to discuss training and technology prerequisite for success in multi-domain battle at AUSA Global Force Symposium and Exposition in Huntsville, AL/USA. In addition, Cubic’s GATR Technologies, which operates under Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS), showcases their line of portable, inflatable satellite communications (SATCOM) antennas at the event.
“Success in a multi-domain battle will require an unprecedented level of situational awareness across our formations. Leveraging our current training enablers at Homestations and focusing on performance-based training are essential for achieving and maintaining appropriate readiness levels,” Blake said. “I look forward to addressing the needed modifications to training, technology and materiel for the Army with my military colleagues.”
At the event, Blake participates in the following panel: Prerequisite for Success in Multi-Domain Battle: Modifications to Training, Technology and Materiel Tuesday, 16 March 1600-1730 (local time); Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, Von Braun Center
GATR is exhibiting the following inflatable, ultra-portable satellite antennas that perform similar to rigid deployable antennas of similar size, but up to 90 percent reduction in the logistical size/weight of those systems: 1.2m man-packable satellite terminal and 2.4m ultra-portable satellite terminal.
