$40.2 million Contract to Support JSTARS Fleet
Collins Aerospace Simulation and Training Systems business in Cedar Rapids, IA, has received a ten-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) sole source contract from the US Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center at Robins AFB, GA, for E-8 Aircrew Training Device (ATD) sustainment. The contract is valued at $40.2 million (€36.2 million), of which $3.6 million was obligated on the first delivery at the time of the award on 2 August.
The contract provides for contractor logistics support and training system support center operations for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) ATD. Work will be performed at Robins and in Sterling, VA.
