IAI-Led Group Helps Market Israeli Cyber Capability Globally
Checkmarx, the application security specialist founded in 2006, has joined the Israeli Cyber Companies Consortium, or IC3.
The consortium, led by IAI, already numbers Check Point, Siemplify, CyberArk, and others among its members. It was established by Israel’s Ministry of Economy in 2016 to “provide a comprehensive solution to cyber challenges faced by governments worldwide“. It established a national cyber centre in a Latin American country in 2017. IAI and IC3 have never identified that nation publicly, but reports indicate it is Brazil.
“Joining the consortium is a natural step for Checkmarx given our ultimate mission, which is to help every organization, whether corporate, institutional or governmental, to make their applications and source code more secure,” said Checkmarx CEO Emmanuel Benzaquen. “[the invitation to join the consortium] is a show of confidence in our mission and technology. The world runs on code, and the Checkmarx Application Security Platform is there to secure it.”
“Every day that the best researchers from cyber companies can work together is a great day for advancing innovation and national security all around the world,” added Checkmarx CTO, Maty Siman.
“Our work together is critical to ensuring the development of cyber security solutions around the world, continuing our quest for a safer, cyber secure, world,” commented IAI’s cyber division GM, Esti Peshin.
