Deliveries in 2018 Valued at SEK110 Million
The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA) has issued a task order to Saab for delivery of ammunition for the CARL GUSTAF infantry weapon system valued at SEK110 million (€10.7 million) in 2018.
The order comes under the terms of Saab’s framework agreement for CARL GUSTAF ammunition signed with the NDMA in 2017, which allows the customer to place orders for live and training ammunition rounds during the period 2017-2022. The Norwegian armed forces currently operate the CARL GUSTAF in both M2 and M3 versions.
“This is the second order from the Norwegian customer since we signed the framework contract and for us this is a clear proof of their trust in our ammunition portfolio. The Norwegian Armed Forces has been a user of the CARL GUSTAF system for many years and we know that they only want the best ammunition for their soldiers. We will supply them with that,“ commented the head of Saab’s Dynamics business area, Görgen Johansson.
