Builds on Current Relationship with Goriziane Group
BAE Systems has expanded its current relationship with Italian vehicle engineering and maintenance specialist Goriziane Group to provide enhanced support for the BvS10 armoured vehicle.
The two companies already collaborate in support of the predecessor BV206, of which over 11,000 have been operated in over 40 countries: they will now extend that agreement to the BvS10, to include joint sales and marketing. Current or imminent users of the BvS10 include Austria, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Goriziane’s support for the BV206 and BV206S has been critical to the Italian Armed Forces, one of the type’s largest operators.
“We are pleased with the latest agreement with BAE Systems and see tremendous potential for the BvS10 in Italy….we will continue to perform the services we provide at the highest possible level,” Massimo Zanin, President of Goriziane Group, explained.
