Four Aircraft for Imminent Delivery, Two More on Option
The Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB – Brazilian Air Force) will shortly receive four Embraer PHENOM 100 business jets. The aircraft, which will be designated U-100 in FAB service, will be delivered to the 6° ETA (Air Transport Squadron, Guará Squadron), based in Brasilia. They are destined to be used for light transport missions and will replace the squadron’s ageing LEARJET 35A. The unit also operates the Embraer BANDEIRANTE, LEARJET 55 and Cessna GRAND CARAVAN. In addition to the four aircraft to be delivered, two options remain as yet unexercised.
