Five-Year Coverage for DoD and FMS Users
Boeing has been awarded a $2,238,707,532 (€1.925 billion) fixed-price-incentive, firm-target contract for the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) Increment I weapon programme, the US DoD announced on 24 September.
The contract provides for a guaranteed minimum Lot 15 award and a five-year ordering period for SDB Incr I focused lethality munitions, containers and carriages for DoD users and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partner nations. Work is expected to be completed by September 2027. The sole-source acquisition involves FMS to Australia, Belgium, Israel, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands and Norway.
