Self-Paced Course Plugs Training Gap

BMT Global (Teddington, UK) launched its Warships 101 e-learning course on 20 May, seeking to plug the training gap with a solution to drive cost-effective upskilling.

The course offers an introduction to warships, their design, capabilities and requirements. Entirely self-paced and with content divided over some 20 modules, the course can be completed in around six hours, the company states. It covers what a warship is, how requirements for warships are specified and how they are designed and built. It forms a perfect introduction for technical and system management aspects of warship design – including, critically, the issue of how capabilities are defined and met.
