Weapon slings and tactical equipment
Blue Force Gear is displaying an array of its finest weapon slings and tactical equipment at booth #31209.
“We are excited to highlight our product lineup and really show people that Blue Force Gear offers the best of the best products on the market,” Ashley Burnsed, CEO of Blue Force Gear, told MONS. “We have a packed schedule with demos, Q&A’s and more, and we’re looking forward to showing everyone our next generation of gear.”
Marquee products include the VICKERS SLING, ULTRAcomp Pocket Holsters, Micro Trauma Kit Now! (Micro TKN!) and the MARCO marking stick dispenser now featuring additional colours.
Blue Force Gear is best known for the patented VICKERS SLING, which was adopted as the standard issue sling for the US Marine Corps in 2011 and is now used by 375,000 service members worldwide. Blue Force Gear is also revolutionising tactical load carriage equipment to make it lighter and stronger through proprietary design technology MOLLEminus and ULTRAcomp.
Blue Force Gear’s proprietary high performance laminate, ULTRAcomp, “far exceeds the military standard air textured nylon in tear and abrasion resistance,” Mrs. Burnsed explained. “Its hydrophobic features allow products to stay dry and light, whereas air textured nylon retains water and gets even heavier when wet. MOLLEminus is a revolutionary load carriage platform that is fully MOLLE compatible while being the lightest on the market. The same way Blue Force Gear made the lightest MOLLE pouch attachment system with one-piece Helium Whisper backers, MOLLEminus is a MOLLE compatible platform constructed out of one piece of ULTRAcomp.”
Constructed with the ULTRAcomp technology, the Blue Force Gear ULTRAcomp Pocket Holster is the company’s first foray into the everyday carry (EDC) market. The new EDC pocket holster removes extra bulk while solidly securing and concealing a pocket pistol, creating a very thin pocket holster.
Making headway in the medical category, the Micro TKN! was recently recognised as the 2018 “Accessory of the Year” in Shooting Illustrated’s Golden Bullseye Awards. The Micro TKN! addresses the subject of Individual First-Aid Kits as an important and life-saving component to EDC.
