Combat Vehicle and Aircraft Modification Capabilities
Akaer will celebrate its 30th anniversary in the aerospace and defence sector in the BID exhibition in Brasília on 6-8 December.

Prominent among the company’s various exhibits will be its combat vehicles modernisation capabilities, as shown by the upgrade currently under way for the EE-9 Cascavel wheeled reconnaissance vehicle of the Brazilian Army. Also on show will be aircraft modification and upgrade abilities: work recently done on revitalising wings for P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft has extended the type’s expected service life. The company is also working on an EW special mission aircraft for Turkey, in which it is responsible for major structural modifications and the installation of specialised mission equipment.
