Collaboration Between Colombian Navy, Bell and Survival Systems Training
In collaboration with the Colombian Navy and Survival Systems Training, Inc., of Dartmouth, Canada, Bell Helicopters has opened an Offshore Simulation Centre in Colombia as part of its commitment to the industrial cooperation programme it has in the country.
The 7,000-sq ft facility incorporates the latest in simulation technologies and associated support equipment for interactive training applications, to include underwater escape training for pilots and crew members of the Colombian armed forces.
“This training is crucial for the pilots and aircrew so they can be prepared for any situation,” observed Bell’s Director of Industrial Participation and Offsets, Jennifer Potts.
