Swiss Company Contracted by Elbit Systems ISTAR Division Bagira Systems AG (formerly TARIS Technologies) has been contracted by the ISTAR Division of Elbit Systems to supply its B-SIM as an advanced arena and image simulator for the Swiss UAS 15 programme.

Forming part of the Elbit Systems ground-based training system for the Swiss HERMES 900HFE UAS, B-SIM consists of a mission simulator and an operational procedures trainer and simulates complex scenarios in a realistic environment, displaying events in high-resolution video. The system can display tens of thousands of entities simultaneously, deal with very large geographical databases and simulate urban behaviour to enhance the utility of the training experience.

B-SIM will save the operators significant mission flight hours and contribute to more efficient use of the HERMES UAS with no degradation in the required level of professional training.
