“India is a Key Market”
Dutch motion control systems specialist E2M Technologies and Indian high-tech group AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies signed an important Memorandum of Understanding at Aero India 2015 in Bangalore on 15 February. AXISCADES already works with industry leaders such as Airbus and Thales and is a preferred Indian Offset Partner for high-end strategic technologies for aerospace and defence solutions. “This partnership with E2M will provide us access to established and state-of-the-art electric motion systems required for India’s aerospace and defence needs. This is another milestone for AXISCADES as one of the premier aerospace and defence companies of India. It is in line with the company’s strategy of building strong partnerships with global leaders in their respective businesses,” commented the company’s Vice-Chairman, Sudhakar Gande.
E2M Technologies has more than 20 years of expertise in electric motion systems and control loading systems for a variety of applications, such as certified flight simulation, cabin crew training, ground vehicle simulation, entertainment and testing. “India is a key market for us, and we are excited to forge this strategic partnership with AXISCADES, which specialises in the aerospace and defence markets. We will work together on various opportunities for simulators in India, enhanced by the Make in India initiative for aerospace and defence programmes,” said E2M CEO Jan Van Bekkum.
