New production facility in Rochester Hills, MI

In a strategic decision towards Jenoptik’s global growth, the company put into operation a new production facility in Rochester Hills, MI/USA, in May 2017, further intensifying its close cooperation with industrial partners and customers in the nation. It takes the form of an advanced technology campus for the engineering, manufacture, sale, and service of energy systems, industrial metrology systems, and laser processing systems.

The new production facility is the new focal point of the group‘s business in the United States, offering an option for expansion, in the mid-term, for other Jenoptik activities, and representing a “technology hub” for the growth of Jenoptik’s business on the continent.

Rochester Hills adds significant expertise to the existing portfolio of development and production sites in the country, including Jupiter, FL, and El Paso, TX.
