Company’s First Foray into Multiband Market

At AUSA 2018 in Washington today Datron is showcasing its new SPECTRE HH3100 MTM multiband handheld tactical radio (and MT3100 mobile mount), which represents its entry into the multiband market.

The addition of the HH3100 series to the SPECTREfamily of tactical radios provides secure and flexible network communications in the 30-512 MHz bands for dismounted and mobile soldiers across the theatre of operations. The radio features embedded ECCM, COMESC (AES-256), GPS capabilities, an amplitude-modulated (AM) modem for ground-to-air communications, and is MIL-STD-810G rated for operations in harsh environments. Frequency hopping and digital encryption waveforms provide for high levels of security and resistance to jamming. The HH3100 has been ergonomically designed, with dual push-to-talk (PTT) operations and a centrally-positioned antenna for improved balance in the operator’s hand.

The HH3100 multiband radio is backward compatible with all Datron VHF radios in encrypted mode, allowing current customers to add new capabilities without upgrading their existing inventory.
