Hover Capability Considerably Enhances Versatility
SpearUAV is unveiling the Viper at AUSA – the first encapsulated, launchable, hovering loitering munition system.
The rugged, compact, wearable system enhances force protection and its hover capability offers aerial observation of potential targets – reviewing buildings floor by floor, for example – as well as mission abort and wave-off capabilities. Intuitive and designed for single-user operation, Viper requires minimum training. Fused day and night payload and AI-based computer vision for real-time target recognition and tracking enable an intuitive user interface and ensure minimal collateral damage.
Adapted to all current ammunition types, the Viper features the Ninox GCS (Ground Control System), compatible with Android, Windows and Linux. An open system architecture integrates seamlessly with existing C2 systems.
“The Viper system is the latest and most advanced development from SpearUAV […] It combines all the features required for a precise attack – launch within a few seconds, the ability to hover slowly to detect and identify targets, and precise attack with minimal collateral damage,” explains Gadi Kuperman, founder and CEO.
