Bringing Adaptive Training to Combat Training Systems
Zen Technologies USA is using the opportunity of AUSA 2018 to showcase the data analytics capabilities that Paladin AI is bringing to the two companies’ collaborative efforts to bring adaptive training to combat training systems.
The future of training is adaptive. By applying data mining and artificial intelligence techniques, Paladin AI and Zen Technologies will be delivering the future of combat training to land forces.
New emerging threats demand continuous and thorough training of soldiers, who come from different backgrounds and experience levels and must all be trained to the same high level of proficiency. The same training curriculum may not cater for each trainee’s unique competencies. Adaptive training will personalise training curricula to maximise individual and collective combat readiness.
Adaptive training takes advantage of the abundant data generated by modern training environments to: measure trainee competency; measure the effectiveness of individual training exercises on a per-competency basis; predict a trainee’s future performance based on current levels of competence; and make recommendations targeting specific weaknesses with specific exercises.
“Combining Zen’s technology with Paladin’s algorithms will produce quantifiable measures of training effectiveness producing combat-ready soldiers,” observed Paladin AI CEO, Adolfo Klassen.
“Paladin AI’s powerful algorithms combine data mining and machine learning algorithms with Zen’s proven training systems to improve the complete training experience. This adaptive training produces customised training programs based on data captured during training, resulting in truly combat ready soldiers,” added CEO of Zen Technologies USA, Pratish Shah.
