DroneShield System Deployed by ADF

With potentially hostile drones at the forefront of security agencies’ collective minds these days, public events such as the recent ASEAN-Australia Special Summit meeting in Sydney present a particular challenge, particularly given the fact that this was the first time such a meeting had been held in Australia.

DroneShield’s products – specifically the DroneGun – were deployed by the Australian Defence Forces (ADF) on behalf of the New South Wales Police to protect the summit participants, which included the heads of state of the ASEAN nations and the Australian Prime Minister.
