Six Bell 407Gxi Selected to Replace Lama
The Argentine MoD ordered six Bell 407Gxi helicopters on 21 December. The aircraft will replace the SA-315B Lama in the Argentine Air Force and Army Aviation – three being allocated to each service.
The 407GXi was chosen over the Airbus H125 and Leonardo AW119Kx Koala, with a greater cabin volume than the former and a lower acquisition cost than the latter being among the deciding factors.
