Signal Products Division Promotes Capabilities to EW Community

PLATH Signal Products, a new COMINT sensors division of PLATH GmbH, will bring its product range to the global electronic warfare community this week when it exhibits at the Association of Old Crows’ Symposium and Convention in Washington, DC.

The show marks the first major event PLATH Signal Products will be attending since the division was founded in April. The entity was set up to market the range of direction finders, receivers and antennae that had hitherto been integrated into other PLATH systems. These products are now available to other integrators for inclusion as components in their products.

“While the development of next generation products is mostly based on the improvement of critical technical parameters, it is PLATH Signal Products’ purpose to seek and support innovators applying signal acquisition technology to new applications, or to enhance their SIGINT systems with superior COMINT capability […] his strategic initiative is designed to enhance PLATH’s growth through widening its addressable market,” the company stated, announcing its formation and strategic intent.

Among the products to be promoted at the AOC event are SPACS (Signal Products Application for Control and Service), a new interface to receivers and direction finders that will make it easier for operators to spot signals of interest, and SIR 2115, an advanced wideband monitoring receiver.
