SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT all on Display
Rohde & Schwarz will be focusing visitor attention on its latest EW equipment during AOC Europe in Bonn, 15-17 May.
Showcasing its solutions alongside subsidiary company Schönhofer Sales and Engineering (SSE), the company will highlight COMINT and ELINT systems for tactical and strategic applications, a new naval electronic support solution, and new instruments and systems for test and measurement of SIGINT and EW equipment. SSE`s TARAN Suite redefines the decision-making process with unrivalled efficiency in SIGINT and superior target analysis.
One core system component is the new UMS400 lightweight universal monitoring system, crucial for gathering actionable intelligence, creating situational awareness and participating in larger ISR multi sensor missions. It is also used for operations focusing on force protection and small-scale emitter hunting. It will be showcased with the ADD307 collapsible VHF/UHF direction finder antenna, on a tripod.
Today’s EW platforms are designed as standalone systems. Future electronic support and ECM concepts are based on multi-platform approaches that include both manned and unmanned aerial, naval and ground platforms. This system-of-systems approach significantly increases overall performance and flexibility: but communication remains crucial, providing overall platform connectivity, high data throughput for sensor data and low latency for C2 and alert messages – for which Rohde & Schwarz is presenting examples for multi-platform electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) and a modern approach to communications datalinks.
Existing operators have defined the TARAN Suite as the tool of choice whenever massive amounts of data require powerful and reliable analysis for optimal decision-making and increased efficiency in supervision, examination and investigation in any subject domain.
