AFCEA Bonn: ATM Maintains Command Capability

Transmitting data with no interruptions in media

Communication without any interruptions in media, and transmission of information across various types of technology, will be at the heart of what ATM ComputerSysteme GmbH (ATM) is presenting at the 31st AFCEA exhibition, being held between 26 and 27 April 2017 at the Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany. ATM is exhibiting at booth M06 in the Maritim Hall.

Maintaining command capability and strengthening operational readiness are the key tasks of today’s operations and are set to remain so in the near future, affecting everything from the smallest unit to vehicles and higher-level military organisational structures. Fast, reliable and secure transmission of information both from and to the centre of action is essential for network-centric warfare, gaining the advantage and keeping damage to a minimum.

As a company whose focus is on technology, ATM offers exactly the right solutions for networking not only a whole range of communication participants and tactical applications, but also sensors and subsystems. Its solutions are used in the areas of extravehicular and intravehicular communication, as well as information transmission.

ATM’s KommServer is a tactical router that has already been introduced in the German ground army contexts and proven its worth there. It connects various mobile and stationary communication methods that use a wide range of different technology types, as well as applications, and enables interoperable exchange of information as a result. As the central element in the communication network, the KommServer creates a self-organising, mobile ad-hoc network by integrating all transmission resources into a homogeneous, IP-compatible network.

ATM ComputerSysteme GmbH is one of the leading system manufacturers in the international security and defence industry. As an all-round service provider of mobile and stationary communication and IT solutions, ATM provides robust products for applications in military and security-related industrial environments. The company has been part of the Krauss-Maffei Wegmann Group since 2001. Many years of experience and a successful synergy of hardware and software engineering under one roof enable ATM to offer not only standardised products with a long, proven track record, but also highly customisable solutions.
