Efficient Exploitation of Information
rola Security Solutions GmbH, headquartered in Oberhausen (Ruhr Area) and a subsidiary of T-Systems International GmbH (German Telekom Group) since 2014, develops, distributes and integrates IT solutions for internal and external security since 1983. Enabling networking of all involved users, the firm offers military intelligence and boarder security management, cyber threat intelligence, social media analysis and mass data analysis. Based on the rsFrame® platform, rola developed IT solutions for a variety of security requirements: police authorities (rsCase® employed for police case processing and criminal case analysis); commerce and industry (rsCIRS® optimised for security issues from the electronic incident log through to analysis); and military/intelligence.
The latter embarks on the rsIntCent® variant, which is used for military intelligence gathering and analysis, combating terrorism, as well as generating situation analyses for intelligence services and the military. According to rola, military situation analysis must be capable of being dynamically adapted in response to changes, and presented in accordance with the needs of different command levels. In doing so, rsIntCent supports the entire intelligence cycle – from receipt of the raw intelligence information and processing of the fundamental data, via merging and correlation of information, retrieval and evaluation, through to visualisation and presentation of the results.
RsIntCent offers all of the functions available in rsFrame for data entry, retrieval and evaluation, including ChartEdit (graphical data entry via Drag & Drop); numerous special data retrieval functions (structure, path, pattern and similarity searches); full-text searching in all information in the database (including document contents); visualisation in charts and diagrams; entry extraction for processing of unstructured tests; geographical analyses; and data mining and statistics. Using facial, advanced object tracking, licence plate and demographics analytics, a user can search for colour, speed, direction, size, age and gender, or a licence plate number or a face.
