Lockheed Martin Aircraft “Different, Inside and Out”
Lockheed Martin, at Aero India in Bengaluru today, has unveiled its F-21 multi-role fighter proposal for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Configured specifically for the IAF’s unique requirements, the F-21 provides unmatched ‘Make in India’ opportunities and consolidates India’s path towards an advanced airpower future, the company stated. Lockheed Martin proposes the aircraft be produced in India in collaboration with Tata Advanced Systems, combining the unique capabilities of both companies to produce a win-win situation for India and the United States.
“The F-21 is different, inside and out,” commented Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Dr Vivek Lall. “The new [F-21] designation highlights our commitment to delivering an advanced, scalable fighter aircraft to the Indian Air Force that also provides unrivalled industrial opportunities and accelerates closer India-US cooperation on advanced technologies.”
