RENK Group AG announced on August 1st that Dr. Georg von Witzleben is taking over as CEO of the Marine & Industry segment on September 1, 2025.
Von Witzleben was previously at THALES Deutschland, where he was most recently responsible as a member of the Management Board for the Secure Communication & Information Systems business unit.
“Dr. Georg von Witzleben brings a clear strategic agenda with him to make the Marine & Industry segment fit for the future. His strong leadership skills will be instrumental in helping us develop next-generation technologies to strengthen our market position as a leading provider of mission-critical propulsion systems,” said Dr. Alexander Sagel, CEO of RENK Group AG.
He began his industrial career in 2003 at AIRBUS Defence & Space. After joining THALES in 2014, he held various management positions.
