The substantial order follows a successful operational evaluation and may pave the way for additional future orders
SMARTSHOOTER announced on August 11 it has received a substantial order for hundreds of SMASH 3000 fire control systems from an Asia-Pacific customer. The systems will be deployed for both Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) missions and precision engagement of ground targets.
This new order follows a period of thorough operational use-case evaluation and testing by the customer, who expressed high satisfaction with the system’s performance. The decision to procure SMASH 3000 at scale reflects a strong vote of confidence in SMARTSHOOTER’s technology and its effectiveness in countering evolving battlefield threats and providing a credible Capability for Self-Personal Defence for Dismounted Combatants.
SMASH 3000 is SMARTSHOOTER’s lightest handheld-operated fire control system. By leveraging artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced tracking algorithms, it enables tactical forces to detect, track, and precisely eliminate aerial and ground threats. SMASH 3000 provides a reliable, combat-proven hard-kill solution against drones and sUAS while significantly increasing hit probability in any combat scenario.
Michal Mor, CEO of SMARTSHOOTER, stated:“We are proud to support our partners in the Asia-Pacific region with the most advanced fire control systems available today. This order is a testament to the operational value of the SMASH 3000 and its ability to deliver unmatched precision in today’s dynamic battlefield. We look forward to supporting our customer’s evolving operational needs, and we are confident this milestone may pave the way for additional future orders.”
Combat-proven and operational with forces in the U.S., Israel, Europe, the UK, and additional NATO nations, the SMASH family of fire control systems enhances mission effectiveness, increases situational awareness, and ensures every shot counts. The SMASH family includes handheld-operated, remotely controlled, and UGV-mounted fire control systems, all designed to significantly improve hit probability against both ground and aerial targets, including drones.
Utilizing an onboard computer, SMASH technology locks on the target, tracks its movements, and synchronizes shot release for swift and precise hits. By integrating Artificial Intelligence, computer vision, and advanced algorithms, the SMASH family transforms standard weapons into precise, smart-shooting platforms. This advanced technology ensures accurate hits, enhances situational awareness, and minimizes collateral damage, enabling forces to operate with superior precision, intelligence, and connectivity.
