Official Delegations, Workshops and High-Tech Solutions
Supported by the Colombian Ministry of Defence (MoD), the international tri-service security and defence exhibition, Expodefensa, is organised by the MoD, Codaltec, Corferias and COGES International. The 2019 iteration of the exhibition will take place in Bogotá, Colombia, 2-4 December. Since its inception, Expodefensa is positioning itself as the leading security and defence event for Latin America and the Caribbean.
In 2019, international exhibitors and subcontractors from all over the world will present a wide range of proven high-tech products and cost-effective solutions, adapted to regional requirements. They will exhibit alongside the Colombian armed forces and military industry, both of which are currently undergoing significant development.
Spain is to be the country guest of honour for 2019. Among Spanish companies already registered are Navantia, SAES, JOMIPSA… In addition to manufacturers, service companies, laboratories and research institutes, international organisations and public institutions will participate in the event.
Among the equipment and systems on show, Expodefensa will present UAVs, bulletproof clothing, optronic, communication and cyber solutions, equipment and systems for the naval, police and emergency sectors, logistics and maintenance and many others.
Expodefensa 2019 will host official delegations – of which over 70 are expected – security and defence forces, manufacturers and trade visitors looking for business opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Over 12,000 professional visitors are expected. The event will also offer a three-day workshop programme covering diverse and complementary security and defence topics.
The trade fair is a great opportunity to develop network and business, to communicate with direct and potential clients, to reinforce international corporate identities and increase visibility in the dynamic Colombian and Latin American markets.
