Eliminates Risk of Accidents
A novelty on display on the stand of Guardian Israeli at SICUR 2018 in Madrid this week was the TRIGGER POUCH, a device developed by Israeli company ACS and aimed at the safer, more rapid transport and use of hand grenades by individual soldiers.
Consisting of a grip of rigid plastic material to which the grenades are attached, which can itself be attached to the soldier’s uniform, TRIGGER POUCH facilitates the carriage and release of the grenade. It is designed to eliminate vibration and the risk of accidents associated with the use of hand grenades, since they can be managed and released using only one hand.
Available for six models of fragmentation and stun grenades, the device can be configured for other grenades in service in regular military, law enforcement and counter-terror units. They are in service with special operations units such as Germany’s GSG9 or the US Delta Force, in which they have been used during operations in Iraq.
