VBCI as contender for Mechanised Infantry Vehicle programme

VBCI is a modern and combat proven Military Off The Shelf)platform that entered service with the French Army in 2009. Over 600 have been delivered, and VBCI has now earned an enviable reputation as the principal combat platform of the French Army during all its recent expeditionary campaigns. From Afghanistan to Mali, VBCI’s reliability, protection, mobility and crew comfort has been affirmed under the most demanding operational environments, according to Nexter. As part of Operation “SERVAL,” VBCI spearheaded the projection of French Forces into MALI over 2400km in four days.
